Expectations and evidence
- Required inputs (protocol identifiers)
- sitemap, http, html, intent
- When it applies
- Sitemaps used for the URLs in scope.
- How to check
- Parse every sitemap, count URLs and compare status, canonical and indexability.
- Expectation
- Each scoped entry resolves, is canonical under the strategy and is intended for indexing; exclusions and sample limits are explicit.
- Evidence to retain
- Inventory without redirects, 4xx responses, noindex pages or duplicate canonicals.
- Non-applicability
- No sitemap used, with inventory and decision provided.
- Limitations
- Sitemap inclusion does not guarantee indexing.
- Outcome clarification
- C requires all expectations across the declared scope. NC requires evidenced contradiction; otherwise NT. NA requires evidence of non-applicability.
- Reference scope
- Technical reference; the TSEP acceptance rule remains an editorial proposal.
